Review on Estee Lauder double wear foundation

Hello!
I'm back with another review. I've realised that the readers of this blog really enjoys reading reviews so I'll try and write more product review for everyone.

Today, I'll review the famous Estee Lauder double wear foundation. I'm using the shade 2W1 (Dawn). The product details on their website says that the foundation is medium coverage, buildable, SPF 10 and lasts up to 15 hours with a natural or semi-matte finish. They also claim to be flawless all day, won't smudge and feels lightweight.

I've been wanting to get this foundation for a while now but only recently that I decided to purchase it while buying one for my mom as well. She specifically asked for this foundation. Honestly? I love this foundation so so much. It's lightweight and it is full coverage in my opinion. I have a lot of acne scars and it hides it effortlessly. I love how it provides with different kind of shades for every skin tone. Whenever I use this foundation it does not transfer or move anywhere. I was travelling from Malaysia to Qatar and the foundation stayed for 15 hours or more. I was leaning on my significant other and it did not transfer on his shirt. It sticks and blends to your skin so well.

The only down side that I have with this foundation is that it sticks on my skin so good that it causes acne whenever I use it for too long or too often. So I'd use it only if I feel like doing a full glam look or events. It says that it is natural but it's a bit too matte for me. Otherwise everything about it is perfect and I'd still keep it and possibly repurchase it in the future.

First Impression review on the Morphe naturally blush palette 9N

Hello! Look at this beautiful palette, my goodness. I've been eyeing to get this palette for a few months now but it's a bit tricky to get in Malaysia because I don't have the patience to pre-order my makeup. I bought it from addoony.com, their shipping is amazing. It came the same day that I ordered it.  I can finally say I have a Morphe item in my makeup collection now. This is a blush palette but honestly you can use some of the colour for contouring and eyeshadow as well.

Let me show you the swatches!

Swatches from the top left of the palette, the lightest colour going down to the top right of the palette. The palette consist of matte and shimmery shades. They are all super pigmented and pretty. The formula is buttery and easy to blend. Tried them on myself yesterday and a little bit of it goes a long way. In my opinion, the price is so affordable for what you get out of it. QAR 110 .

My only negative opinion on this palette is the packaging, it's just a simple black plastic but it doesn't really matter because the product is amazing. Overall, you should invest on this palette whether you're a blush girl, eyeshadow girl or a highlighter girl get it and try it out!

November 2016 favorites!

Hello!
With all the revising I almost forgot to make this blog post. Sorry! It's basically the end of the year already, how scary. November have been so good to me. I'm so relieved that everything for my practicum next year is sorted. In case you didn't know, I'm pursuing to be an Early Childhood professional and I'll start my practicum in January ( working with children ages 3-6 years old). I'm thinking of making a personal blog post " about me" type of thing when I know that there are more of you reading my blog.

Speaking of personal , this month's favorite is mainly personal items instead of beauty favorites. But I hope it's still interesting to read!

1. Bella Rozaini eyelashes

My best friend Bella, kindly gave these lashes to me as a gift. I've been running out of lashes for a few months now because I don't have lashes from Indonesia anymore. They are super soft and easy to put on. It has a thin band that I love but it is durable. They look so pretty yet natural. It's not over dramatic. These lashes are affordable as well. Yes when you purchase them it comes with this beautiful box as well.

You can buy them here https://www.instagram.com/p/BM1Nw6Jjmw2/?taken-by=bellarozaini_perfectnose

They are only RM 8 !

2. Duo eyelash glue (black)

I'm not sure if I've talk about this eyelash glue before in a blog post or not but this is a must favorite this month. I started wearing lashes again and honestly my one suggestion on starting of wearing lashes is get an amazing glue. This glue oh my god. Before I'd use an eyelash glue from Indonesia I'm not sure of the brand, it was alright I guess. But this glue even when I sneeze hard, my eyelash was perfectly fine. It did not budge at all.  I sneeze a lot so this is important. I sneeze a lot because I'm allergic to house dust, how weird? I know. I'm not sponsored by Duo eyelash glue but if they want to, please do !

Okay I'm too scared to show my duo eyelash glue cause its nasty looking. But this is what it looks like.

Price: less than RM30?

3. Coach Sierra satchel in crossgrain leather

If you know me you'll know that I'm obsessed with bags. I've been looking for a dome shape bag ever since I saw the Gucci mini dome leather bag in black. But gurl, Gucci is pricy. So I had to look for an alternative and fell in love with this one! It's so pretty and structured? I feel like even after a few years the shape will still be this way. I love the crossgrain  leather on it so I don't have to worry about scratching it. It's a bag that's more mature than most of the bags that I have right now.

Sad thing is, it was a bit difficult for me to find this bag. I went to the Coach outlet in Sunway Pyramid and they told me that because it was last year's item they don't have it anymore in the outlet but I manage to find them online. I was thinking of getting the mini or the ' normal' size sierra satchel but decided to get the normal size instead. I figure that the mini would be too small for me. Let me know if you would like to see an updated what's in my bag blog post.

4. Tony Moly - Banana lip balm

How cute is this packaging? Yeah I bought it for the packaging. But, this lip balm is actually so creamy and it smells so good. If you like banana milk though. I love the applicator on it. I don't have to use my finger or put too much product on my lip. I'll just put enough of it and blend it. Tony Moly is always on point with their packaging.

Price: RM 25

I hope November was good to you as it did for me. Are you excited for December and new years? Don't forget the end of year sales! if you have any question feel free to ask me @blogpostsbyrf on Instragam.

Review on Heimish All Clean balm + What's double cleansing?

Hello! For this blog post I'll be reviewing the Heimish all clean balm and give you an understanding of what double cleansing is and how amazing it is. From being in the AB (Asian Beauty) community I was able to learn so much about skin care . I can finally say that double cleansing (properly ) is a game changer for my skin. I've been wanting to do this blog post mainly for my friends to introduce to them the double cleansing method. This is gonna be a long blog post but please bear with me !

So what's double cleansing? They way I see it is basically having two cleansers. One to breakdown your makeup and another one to clean your face thoroughly. You would want an oil based cleanser as your first cleanser to not only your makeup but also oil-based impurities, including sebum and sunscreen. While your second cleanser can be water based. Whether it's a foam cleanser or a gel cleanser.

Putting oil all over my face to remove makeup? uhh..
Yes! Using good oils for your skin to remove the bad dirty oil. You can get either a liquid one or a balm type of oil cleanser but it is so important to have an oil cleanser in your makeup routine especially if you wear makeup often. I used to have closed comedones all over my face and was wondering why and how come with any skin care it's not going away? Not until I started double cleansing properly a few months ago. This is because I was not removing my makeup, dirt and all that properly and it was all over my skin within layers and layers.

My first cleanser: Heimish All clean balm
My second cleanser: Neutrogena oil free acne wash

Now that I've briefly explain what double cleansing is, lets get on with the review!

This is the first balm cleanser that I've ever tried. I'm loving it. I know for sure that I will repurchase this product. This product works similarly to cleansing oils. The way I use it is to put the balm all over my face and then massage it in. You will be able to see that your makeup just melt right off. Whether it's waterproof mascara or foundation they just melt right off. Mix it with water to lather it even more and then wash it all off.

The first time of using this product I can feel my face being so clean and soft. I would use a micellar water before using this balm cleanser to remove my makeup and I'd feel as though my face is still not clean even after cleaning it with my foam cleanser. That's probably the cause of my closed comedones. Although I've tried an oil cleanser before I'd prefer using this cleansing balm over a cleansing oil by Hada Labo. I heard that this cleansing balm is better than the famous Banila Co clean it zero. I can't compare to it because I've never tried it myself.

I've been using it for a month and I'm just going through it half way. But! I wear makeup and use this almost everyday. If you are looking for a cleansing balm or an oil cleanser to try. Give this one a try!

October 2016 favorites!

Hello! The last monthly favorites that I did was in August right when I was back from Indonesia. I'm sorry that I didn't write a September favorites because well there weren't really anything that I truly love from September. This month have been both bitter and sweet. The exhaustion from looking for a place to intern in, being in the last semester for in my DECE. Anyways, lets get on with this month's favorites?

1. Beauty Blender

Yes, the original beauty blender . I've been using my Real Techniques expert face brush to apply my foundation for years now and finally decided to try the famous beauty blender. Now I can understand why this is a must have in your makeup collection. I've been using it almost everyday to apply my foundation and it makes my foundation application so skin like? Like it sits on my skin so nicely. Because you have to use it damp, I love the cooling sensation I get every time I do my foundation now. It's so much easier to blend my foundation . I think blending took the longest out of my makeup routine but now it's definitely my brows and eyes ( eyeshadow, mascara etc) .

Price? RM 99 (Bought it during Sephora black card sale so I got it for 10% off)

2. Bourjois healthy mix serum Gel foundation

If you haven't seen it, I made a mini review of this foundation on the Instagram page for blogpostsbyrf. Here is the link https://www.instagram.com/p/BL56u0GgBCH/?taken-by=blogpostsrf

I think I shouldn't say anything else other than to try this foundation regardless of your skin type because I think it'll work well with any skin type and mine is acne prone and oily !

Price? <RM60

3. Too Faced cocoa powder foundation

This is one of the foundation that I've been wanting to try for ages. Thanks to my lovely boyfriend , Robby he decided to buy it for me because I was in need of a setting powder and I've been talking about it often. I keep it in my bag along with my Real Technique brush for touch ups and to set my makeup. Because my foundation has a light coverage, this powder foundation helps in coverage and to set my foundation. I'm using the shade Medium Tan. My base makeup would look matte but natural throughout the day!

Price? RM137

4. Heimish all clean balm

My first balm (makeup remover ) it's absolutely amazing. I've tried using an oil cleanser and it causes so much acne. Before using this balm I was using a micellar water to remove my makeup and I'd use so much cotton pads. I feel like using a micellar water didn't really remove all of the makeup from my face and it was the cause of my closed comedones. This balm removes all of my makeup off including waterproof mascara. So simply and so easily. I love how soft my skin feels after using this balm. Heimish said that you don't need a second cleanser after using this balm but I feel better using a second cleasner anyway to make sure that my face is all clean Lastly, I love how pretty their packaging is!

Price? RM 59

5. Maybelline baby skin instant pore eraser primer

Primer oh primer. The other primer that I've tried other than this is the Benefit porefessional. I wouldn't say that this is a dupe to the Benefit porefessional. But it works pretty well as a primer from the drugstore. Every time that I use this primer my foundation looks so smooth. It is easy to apply and it's light weight too. I hate it when I can feel it on my skin that I'm using a bunch of product.

Price? RM29

So glad I can put out this month's favorites for you guys. I've been so lazy lately and it is not okay. Feel free to ask me to do a full review on any of these products!

Empties review: Loreal Mat magique BB essence SPF50 +PA +++

Hello! How's everyone?
As you can see I'm trying to improve my blog design again. It is honestly not easy to do it and I'm still trying to figure it out. I'm sorry that I didn't make a blog post for my September favorites because I didn't want to post a September favorites in the month of October and I just didn't have time to write one. Although I have a mini September favorites up in the Blogpostsrf instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/blogpostsrf/). I'm doing my first empties review blog post. I've finished the Loreal Mat magique BB essence today and I thought I can write a good review about the product.

Soo lets get on with the review!

R2- ROSE VANILLA
I've seen this in Malaysia a few months ago but somehow I can't find it anymore and it's upsetting because this is one of the best BB cream I've tried. I bought this in Indonesia in Matahari. I've realised that I have an acne-prone skin so I have to be really careful when trying out a new product. This bb cream didn't break me out at all. It claims to be the ' First powder in-essence BB infused with Volcanic perlite. It is a matte finish BB cream. Every time that I use this BB cream I didn't have to use a setting powder. Packaging wise, it is super pretty and it feels expensive? I'm not sure if it really is a glass bottle or not but it sure feels like one.

I'

The only thing that I dislike about this BB cream is that it dries out super quickly so you have to blend it in pretty fast. Don't try this if your skin is dry it will not be pretty. One day when I was in Indonesia and I was on acne treatment my skin was so dry and I insist on using this BB cream and it was awful. It's also liquidy? That's why it can be a mess when you try to put it on your face.hand, beauty blender or brush. But I can live pass the flaws that this BB cream has because I truly love this BB cream. Please let me know if I can purchase this BB cream in Malaysia. I'd say give it a try if you have normal/combination-oily/oily skin.

Review - FAKE Kylie lip kit and liquid lipstick!

Hello!

This is somewhat of an exciting review right? Yes you saw the title. I'll be doing a review of the fake Kylie lip kit and liquid lipstick. I bought this a few days ago from one of the shop in Shah Alam. I would like to put a disclaimer that if you are planning to purchase a fake Kylie lip kit/ liquid lipstick please use it at your own risk. Honestly, I have no idea where it's from and what it's made out of. But a friend of mine have been using it for a while now and she seems okay. Now let's get on with the review!

There was 3 different kind of Kylie liquid lipstick there which is her birthday edition packaging ( the gold one), the original Kylie lip kit and the Kylie liquid lipstick packaging if you buy them individually ( the white one). I don't own the original Kylie lip kit/liquid lipstick so I will not be comparing them to each other and I'll just do a review based on what I have.

Lets start with the packaging!

Okay the packaging is super pretty. Both of the box is pretty spot on like they did really well copying the original Kylie lip kit/liquid lipstick! I'm loving the gold liquid lipstick packaging it's super pretty. Sadly they don't feel expensive at all. You can tell that it's cheaply made because of the plastic. Especially the lip liner , something about the packaging is weird to me. I don't think you can see it from the picture but when you touch it is like it's just weird?

Product wise, this is interesting. I bought the Kylie lip kit in the colour Dolce K and the invidual liquid lipstick in True brown K.

True brown K

Dolce K

As you can see the one in True brown K is more opaque than the Dolce K. Both of them including the lip liner has this sweet scent to it. It can be overwhelming for some people. Lets talk about the consistency. OMG it is one of the worst liquid lipstick I've ever tried. It is sticky and super drying. It is long lasting, super long lasting actually. To the point that even oil makeup remover couldn't melt it. Then I started wondering, what the hell is it made out of?

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to you unless it's for collection? since the packaging is pretty. But please don't use it daily . I think it can really harm your lips.

Price: RM 7-15
It varies depending on the online shop.

First Impression review of the Kind to skin micellar cleansing water by Simple

Hello!

Yes, my blog is under construction again. I'm improving it but it is not easy at all. I feel like the previous theme is a bit too childish and I'm going to stick to this theme. Hopefully. Anyways! Today I'm giving you guys/girls a first impression/review of the Kind to Skin micellar cleansing water by Simple.

I was looking for a drugstore makeup remover to replace the Wardah makeup remover that I've been using. I was looking for something that's gentle on the skin and stumbled upon this. It says that Simple is a sensitive skin experts. Sounds amazing. Cleanses and removes makeup is what they claim to be.

My thoughts? So far I love this makeup remover except that it doesn't really removes mascara . I mean it does but you have to put a lot of pressure on your eyes. I love how light it is . It's literally like water. It removes my BB cream/foundation so well. It doesn't have any weird perfumy smell. It didn't break me out so far. It's super affordable too!

You can get this at Watson or Guardian so it's easy to find if you are planning to purchase it. I know that this is a short review but I didn't want to write a long and boring review .

August 2016 favorites!

Hello!
I was not able to post any blog post while I was in Indonesia throughout August for my semester break since I wanted to spend the whole time I was there with my family. My apologies!

Everytime that I go back to Indonesia I'd explore and purchase more of Indonesian makeup brand. I've been loving Wardah hence why this month's favorite is full of Wardah products and a little bit of Dior. Lets get on with the favorites then!

1. Wardah Makeup Remover with Jojoba oil

By now I'm pretty sure my skin is super sensitive to alcohol, this Wardah makeup remover is super gentle on my skin and didn't break me out since it does not contain any alcohol. It says that it contains Jojoba oil that's supposed to help with skin hydration. It removes my makeup even the eye makeup quiet easily. It is super affordable as well it's around RM10.

2. Wardah Intense matte lipstick in Mauve Mellow

While I was in Indonesia, I found out that Wardah came out with new matte lipstick so I had to try them out! I bought the Intense matte lipstick in the colour Mauve Mellow and Choco Town. I've been wearing Mauve Mellow on my lips almost everyday since I got it. I feel like its the perfect everyday nude.

The consistency of the lipstick itself is buttery and easy to apply. It is long lasting as well. The only down side is that it's not super matte? It's still a bit glossy in my opinion.

Price: RM15

3. Wardah Eyexpert optimim hi-black liner

I've been looking for a good affordable eyeliner for quiet sometime now and I've heard good reviews about this eyeliner. Indonesia is as humid as Malaysia and this eyeliner stayed on throughout the day. I'd wear it for around 5 hours and it stayed put. It is super easy to apply. I've been getting  a lot of compliments on my eyeliner because of this product! Mind you, I'm not good at all when it comes to drawing my eyeliner.

Price: RM20

4. Inez colour contour blush in Amber Peach

Oh my this blush is super duper pigmented and that's why I love it! You don't need a lot of product at all for the blush to show on your skin. I've been using this blush as a blush and a bronzer as well since the colour is workable as a blush for me.

Price: RM14

5. Dior lip glow in Pink

Well, this is probably the most expensive lip balm I have. The packaging is super pretty and I'm a sucker for packaging. Other than the packaging I love how this lip balm leaves a pink tint on my lips even after the sheen rubs off. This is Ranya's birthday gift for me this year so thanks sissy!

Sephora US price: RM132

6. Makeup case/Organiser

I never thought that I'd need a makeup case like this ever but while I was in Indonesia I couldn't fit all of my makeup into my usual Victoria Secret makeup bag that I always use and decided to purchase a makeup case. I've seen an acrylic from Sephora but it is slightly too small for the price. I bought mine in one of the mall in Yogyakarta ( I forgot the name hahaha ).

I can't believe even this is actually too small for all of my makeup collection but it is perfect for my everyday makeup items!

Price: RM103

This months favorite is full of makeup items and I love it! Would you like to see an Indonesian makeup haul or a review of one of the Wardah Products?

July 2016 favorites!

Hello everyone!
Oh my goodness. I almost forgot to write this months favoritoes! I'm writing this blog post now a few hours before my flight to Indonesia. I'll be spending my semester break which is throughout August in Yogyakarta. I'll be writing a lot of interesting blog posts regarding travels and beauty then. Now, lets get on with this month's favorites.

1. Biore UV Aqua Rich watery essence sunscreen SPF 50 + PA +++

This is the first proper sunscreen that I've ever use and I can see the difference now on my skin tone. I used to have really weird discoloration around my forehead and the side of my face and it seems like the skin on my face is all the same colour now thanks to this sunscreen. I love how this sunscreen is super light weight and not sticky at all. It doesn't interfere with my makeup as well. If you've never use a sunscreen, please consider using it.

Price: RM 30+

2. Nyx liquid suede lipstick in Sandstorm

I went to Sephora a few days ago to get a moisturizer and walked out with this lipstick along with my moisturizer! The NYX area in Sephora Sunway Pyramid restocked a lot of product and added more new items so I had to check it out. By checking it out I mean stayed there only in the NYX area for like 30 minutes...

What it looks like on me

I've been wearing it every day ever since I got it. I don't have any lip item that is super nude like this. It's almost the same as my lip colour. The texture is really buttery and smooth. It doesn't dry up your lips. They have other colours that are vibrant and daring that I was too scared to try but I think you should!

Price: RM 35

3.  Body Shop tea tree oil

This is interesting! I used to use this tea tree oil 2 years ago and stopped. Why did I stop! I've been having more blemishes lately and I had this brand new one that I bought in Qatar sitting around and decided to use it again. It dries up my blemishes instantly and I love the smell. It's so soothing...

Price: QR 20

4. Innisfree tea tree serum

I know I know it is a sample size. I started using this serum ever since my Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel ran out. I've been into scents this month I guess? This serum is pretty gentle on my skin and it's not breaking me out. I'm considering of purchasing the full size to switch out with my Clinique moisturizer. I think you should give this a try if you have an oily combination skin and use it as a moisturizer .

Price: ?

Well that's pretty much it for my beauty monthly favorites. Although I've been loving more korean dramas lately! You should definitely watch Doctors and Uncontrollably fond. I love good dramas with good OST!

Review - Biore UV Aqua rich watery essence SPF 50 + PA ++++

Hello and Eid Mubarak everyone!
I'm writing this blog post the day of Eid. This Eid feels a little bit empty without my family and Robby around. I've notice that you guys seems to love reading a blog post where I review products. So, I'll be posting more product reviews in the future.

As you can tell by the title, I'll be reviewing the Biore UV Aqua rich watery essence SPF 50+
PA ++++

Okay. This is my first ever sunscreen that I've purchase to put on my face as a part of my skin care routine. I've done my research and with the help from Asian Beauty I made the decision to purchase this sunscreen. Lets start with the packaging. The packaging is pretty simple, nothing special except the size. I feel like I'm getting quiet a lot of product for the money.

I have an oily combination skin and was worried that putting on a sunscreen before my makeup will make my face even more oily. The colour of the product is milky white. It has an interesting smell that I can't figure out but it's not overwhelming and pleasant. The product has a light and super smooth consistency. It dries out quickly and it's not sticky at all.

I've been using this sunscreen for a few days now and I have to say I'm super impressed! It helps my foundation to look better than it usually is. It's really light. I have no problem in taking this sunscreen off at the end of the day. This is definitely a product I will repurchase.

Price: RM30

If you are looking for a sunscreen, you can give this one a go!

June 2016 lip products favorites featuring my friends!

Hello!
June was a pretty hectic month for me due to my assignments. I'm having a short semester where the college is cramping all 3 subjects for us to study in 1 and 1/2 month! As you can tell by the title, this months favorite is focusing on lip products. I thought it'll be fun to include my friends lip product favorite of this month as well!

Lets start with my favorites!

I've been loving a slightly darker lips look this month. I absolutely love wearing both of these colours!

Purbasari colour matte lipstick #81 Diamond and Kiss Proof soft Lipstick in no.12

As you can see both of the packaging is pretty beat up since I don't really take care of them and use them often. When using the Kiss proof soft lipstick I would always use a lip balm first so that it is not drying on my lips. Both of them have gives a good colour pay off!

Kiss proof soft lipstick: RM 10

Purbasari Colour matte lipstick: RP 35.000

Bellas favorite - Obuse Lip tint

I've seen her use this lip tint almost everyday to touch up. She said that it's super easy to use and comfortable. It's a nice subtle orange tint on the lips. This lip tint is super affordable as well! I believe it's only RM 5.

Ikas favorite - Gel tint

Here is Ikas favorite. It's a gel tint by In 2 it. She said that this is pretty much the only lip product that she use all the time. She own the colour GT 01 Peach and GT 03 Raspberry. It's natural and subtle on the lips. After doing some research, you can actually use this gel tint as a blush as well!

RM 10

Most of the lip products that we use is super affordable. No surprise, since we're still college students! Whats your favorite lip product?

Food review - Mammam deliveries!

Hello! Ramadhan Kareem! I'm pretty sure this is the first blog post dedicated to food.
If you know me personally, you'd know that I'm a foodie.
If trying new food is a hobby, that's my hobby.

For my first food review, I'll be talking about Mammam deliveries (http://mammam.com.my/) .  I stumbled upon this food delivery thanks to Pika! I was super lazy today. I wasn't bothered to get ready to go out and have my iftar. I didn't have any groceries at home to cook from and I didn't want to order junk food for iftar. Then I decided to order from http://mammam.com.my/!

Lets start with their service. It's AMAZING. I'm so impressed! I ordered through their website and a few minutes after that I receive a phone call to confirm my order. They emailed me the receipt a few minutes after my order as well.

I ordered Butter chicken and Indian chicken curry. There are no minimum order. All of the meals comes with bottle of water.

I'd say that everything taste great but it is slightly bland according to my taste. Although, I ordered the sweet and sour chicken today and it is amazing! I love it so much. Mammam delivery is a great alternative instead of ordering junk food. I believe everything is freshly made.

I'm totally recommending Mammam deliveries !

My Skin care routine (2016)

Hello!

I've been wanting to do a blog post on my skin care routine for a while now. After a few months of trial and error of skin care, I can finally say that I have a proper skin care routine that I NEED iny life. I started my obsession with skin care thanks to the AB ( Asian Beauty ) community! My skin is far from perfect but without these products it'll be a nightmare...

Skin type: Oily-combination
Trouble areas: Blackheads and hormonal acne

I focus more on a night time skin care routine instead of a morning one. I'd usually sleep really late at night and wake up mid noon so I don't really have time to pamper myself in the morning. The only thing that I do in the morning is to wash it using the Clinique Liquid facial soap oily skin formula.
I do my full skin care routine at night, I'll talk about it step by step !

  1. On the days that I wear my makeup I'll ' double cleanse ' my face. First I'll use the Hadalabo Gokujun cleansing oil to remove most of my makeup. Then I'll cleanse my face again using the Clinique Liquid facial soap to really clean my face.
  2. After double cleansing my face there isn't any makeup left for me to clean. I'll proceed with moisturizing my lips using Vaseline.
  3. Then I'd use the Clinique clarifying lotion to exfoliate my face.
  4. The end of my daily skin care routine is to moisturize my face using the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel.
  5. If there are any break outs, I'll then use the Peter Thomas therapeutic sulfur masque using a cotton bud and put tiny bit of it on the pimples.
On the days where I didn't wear any makeup at all, I like to pamper myself with a face mask. I'll usually grab any sheet masks that I have around or use the Innisfree super volcanic clay mask. Ever since I started using Clinique I can't use other cleanser and moisturizer. Other brand gave me a break out.

That's basically it for my skin care for the past few months. I love pampering myself with these product at the end of the day.

May 2016 favorites!

Hello!
I feel like May is a really slow month. Maybe it's because it's my semester break and I didn't go anywhere and stayed in Bandar Sunway. However, I do have a few favorites to share with you guys ! I'll start with the Skin care, makeup and then move on with the miscellaneous favorites.

#1  Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun cleansing oil

I bought this cleanser at the start of the month. I wanted to start double cleansing to help with clearing up my face. I wear makeup almost everyday with a sunscreen on. I feel like just using my Clinique cleanser didn't remove all of the makeup and that might be the cause of my skin being dull and breaking out. I wrote a full review of the Hadalabo cleansing oil here http://blogpostsbyrf.blogspot.my/2016/05/review-hada-labo-cleansing-oil.html .

It is the end of the month now and I still love this cleanser. It works so well in removing my sunscreen and foundation. This is definitely an item that I will repurchase.

#2 Sheet masks

I have a lot of time in my hand this month so I decided to pamper myself more often by getting sheet masks. I used to HATE sheet masks.I thought there were a lot of excess products that gets thrown away and that it's too slippery on my face. I was wrong. Sheet masks is wonderful. I haven't try a lot of sheet masks but my favorites are Tony Moly pureness snail mask and Innisfree skin clinic BHA mask. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to get a picture of the masks myself ...

#3 Vaseline

This is an interesting favorite. I ran out of both of my Burt's bees lip balm that I love so much. As you know as a university student you'd go broke at the end of the month. Thank god I had Vaseline laying around. My lips get chapped and dry so easily. Vaseline is an awesome beauty product. It's multipurpose. I've use Vaseline for my chapped lips and it's amazing. I've use Vaseline as a scrub, mixing it with sugar and it works amazingly as well.

Price: Less than RM 5

#4 Eyelash extensions

I got my eyelash extension for the first time at the start of the month and it was amazing. I had an amazing experience. The full first impression blog post is here http://blogpostsbyrf.blogspot.my/2016/05/first-impression-eyelash-extension.html. It's been atleast 3 weeks and a lot of the eyelash did fall out. Although it's still long and beautiful and I love it. By getting my eyelash done it saves me a lot of time when getting ready. I didn't have to put on false eyelash.

#5 TV show - Running man

I spent most of the time of my semester break watching Running man. I have no idea why I just started watching this show. It's so funny! Running man is a game show where the members will play different kind of games in every episode. There are guests as well in some of the episode. I love Monday couple. I love Ji Hyo and Kwang Soo. All of the Running man members is so fun to watch. My favorite episode has to be the one where they went to Indonesia and Australia!

I hope my monthly favorites blog post is enjoyable to read. I love writing about my favorites at the end of the month. My blog have grown so much lately and I'm so happy and thankful for each of you that's reading it.

First impression: Eyelash extension!

Hello!
I'm writing this blog post on the day that I got my eyelash extension done which is the 4th of May 2016.

I've been wanting to get eyelash extension done for months now and I've finally decided to do it today! Well I decided to do it a week ago but I got them done today! I don't hate my natural lashes but I love long lashes. After a friend of mine got hers done ( Hanna ) , it really triggered me to get my eyelashes done as well . Previously, I was worried of it being painful somehow or that it'll go wrong?

C-curl 9,10,11,12mm

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH

I made an appointment at the Apple nails & SPA at Nadayu 28 , Petaling Jaya. I made the appointment just last night through their Facebook page. The procedure to get eyelash extension took around 1 hour and 15 minutes. My eyelashes was done By Rita. She was so friendly and explained everything to me. The procedure doesn't feel like anything at all. It's not irritating or uncomfortable. I just had to lay there with my eyes closed for 1 hour and 15 minutes. So it was somehow soothing?

At this point  I don't feel any irritation at all. My eyelashes doesn't feel heavy either. They are super pretty and natural, just how I want them to be. Am I planning to get them done again in the future? I'm not sure. I'll have to let you guys know in the future! They should lasts for at least 1 month or even more if you take care of them well.

PRICE: RM128

If you are interested in getting eyelash extensions, do contact Rita!

Review - Hada Labo cleansing oil

Hello!
I want to mention that my blog is going through some changes now to be improve. Please bear with it. Today's post is a review of the Hada Labo cleansing oil.

I purchased this cleansing oil with the intention of starting the ' double cleansing' method as my skin care routine. I would use this cleansing oil first to remove all of my makeup and then use the Innisfree Jeju volcanic pore cleansing foam to do the second time of cleansing.

This is my first time of trying a cleansing oil and I'd say that it works really well! It does a great job of removing all of my makeup. From my foundation, eyebrow pencil , mascara and the lip product that I'm using that day. I like how light the consistency of the oil is. I was expecting it to be heavier. It spreads easily on my skin and smoothly. When I use it to remove my eyeshadow or mascara I don't have to rub on it too hard. The product would slide off along with the oil.

I was worried that using an oil cleanser would make my face even more oily but that's not the case at all. So far I don't have any breakouts from using this cleanser as welll.

Price: RM50

Is it an item that I would repurchase in the future? Most likely! If you're looking for a cleansing oil you can give this one a go .
