2015 Beauty Favorite + Ipad !

Crazy how it's the end of 2015 already! I can not believe that the year is over. There are so many products that I'd love to talk about in this blog post but I decided to narrow it down to 5 items. These 5 items are items that I can not go a day without this year. I discovered them in 2015 and I'm sure that I'll love them in 2016. 2017 maybe even 2025?

I'm planning to do a monthly favorites every month in 2016! I've always love watching monthly favorites and reading other people's blog post about it. I'll try my best to keep up with the monthly favorites.

1. Apple ipad Mini 3 in Gold

This gadget is such a treat to have. I'm so glad that I bought it! I broke my laptop early 2015 and it sucks. I was not able to do my assignments using my own laptop, I had to borrow my boyfriend's laptop often. I decided to purchase the Ipad mini because I couldn't fix my laptop and had to wait to buy a new one. I purchased the Ipad mini 3 (16GB). I use this ipad for everything. I use it to write in my assignment, watch movies , youtube videos and much more. it's so convenient because of the size and how light it is, it's easy to bring it anywhere.

Price : 1300RM

2. Burts Bees lip balm

I have tried different brand of lip balms and so far Burts bees lip balm is the best! Hands down. It's the first lip balm that I actually finished like the tub was empty? It's super moisturizing and lasts long. It feels really good its not greasy. They have so many different kind of flavor. I've personally tried the Vanilla Bean and Acai Berry. I'd use it as a part of my skin care routine, before putting on any lipsticks, lip tints etc. Burts Bees is also cruelty free! This was recommended to me by one of my best friends. Thank you so much P!

Price: 25RM

3. Innisfree Ece eyebrow pencil

This eyebrow pencil is a life saver ! I used to use the darkest brown shade from my Naked Basic palette to do my eyebrow.  Vanessa from oh-my-vans.blogspot.my recommended this eye brow pencil. It is so easy for me to fill in my eyebrow using this pencil. It looks super natural and lasts long too. As you may know Malaysia is pretty humid and I sweat a lot. Every single time that I use this eyebrow pencil it doesn't smudge despite the humidity. Lets talk about the price, it is so affordable. 15RM! I'm using it in number 04.

4. Nature republic Soothing and Moisture aloe vera 92% soothing gel

I'm sure I've raved about this product in my blog. I decided to try this since I had run out of my Moisturizer and heard a lot of great reviews about it. I was hooked ever since and so does my boyfriend. It does have a scent to it but I don't mind. I love how light it is and it's not sticky on my skin. It dries up super quick too. It is so affordable and you get so much in the tub. This products is very versatile too. I use it to moisturize my arms and use it as an under eye mask. Try it out!

5. Vitamin E Hydrating Toner from The Body Shop

Girl...
If you haven't try this toner you should. If you're considering of trying out a toner, try this. This toner is a major help in calming down my acne and discoloration. It's great to remove your make up residue. I usually use this in the morning after washing my face. It's so hydrating. The scent reminds me of a baby powder? Another plus is that Body Shop is a cruelty free brand!

Price: 55RM

So here are the products I truly recommend for you to try!

Review - BHcosmetics 88 color cool shimmer eyeshadow palette!

Hello! This is a super exciting review for me to write. I've been waiting for this palette for days! I'll be reviewing the 88 color palette , Cool shimmer eyeshadow by BHcosmetic. This palette is the first product I own from BHcosmetics. I've heard a lot of great things about them! This palette is massive! They are all shimmery eye shadows. I got them off Carousell for 30RM! You can purchase them at Hermo.my for 64RM .

What's my opinion of the palette? I love it! I love shimmery eyeshadows! You get so much for such an affordable price. After playing with it for a few days I can say that these eye shadows colour pay off is amazing. They lasts a long time and true to colour. I was wearing them for 10 hours and there were no fall out. The consistency is super buttery and easy to apply. I did not use a primer while using these eye shadows. Here are 10 of my favorites out of the 88 eye shadows!

They are super pretty! This is a great palette for a beginner like me. You can experiment with a lot of colours without having to spend a lot of money! Totally worth the buy!

Review - Silky girl Magic BB water gel

Hello! It's so crazy how it's December already! What have you been up to? I've been stressed out with exams and just finished it yesterday. Finally free. Today I'll review the Silky Girl Magic bb water gel.   All in one SPF 30, makeup base, conceals, refines, evens, smoothens, firms, soothes, brightens, shine free. That's what it claims to be! I've been using this product almost every single day. The days that I am wearing makeup. I can see how this works as a makeup base since it is super light weight. It doesn't conceal as much as I want it to be. Although it evens out my skin perfectly. I've been getting a lot of compliments on how glowy my face look with this bb cream! It's not oily at all but dewy for sure. I would say that this is a light to medium finish bb cream. You can build it up until medium coverage.

PROS: It's super light weight so you feel like you're not wearing any makeup. Dewy finish. Vey cheap! This cost me 20RM. NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS

CONS: They only have 2 shade to choose from. 01 Natural and 02 Radiant.

Overall, I am recommending this 100%! If you love dewy finish, light weight everyday bb cream.

Cruelty free makeup

Hello! I've been planning on writing this blog post for ages now. I know that this is a very touchy subject to talk about. I want to make sure that I'm no expert so what I wrote is a mix of my opinion and facts I've found through other sources. I also want to make sure that everyone is entitled for their choices.

CRUELTY FREE MAKEUP

I've been trying my best to only purchase cruelty free makeup for at least 3 months. Why? I feel like it is unfair that these cute animals suffer in order for me to look good. How testing on animal works? Manufacturers would drop a chemical on a rat/rabbit's eye to see how long it will take for it to burn the cornea. If getting shampoo in your eye hurts, imagine this. Manufacturers does have a choice whether to use animal to test or not because now human skin cultures can be grown and purchased for skin irritation testing.  By using this method it's actually faster and more accurate at predicting human reactions to a product than the old animal tests ever were.

Watch this video , this is one of the videos I've watched that truly breaks my heart.

Mac is one of the top brand that isn't cruelty free which is heartbreaking! most of the popular drugstore makeup brand is not cruelty free either. It's super easy to check whether the make up you're planning to buy is cruelty free or not. They usually have it on their packaging or you can easily google it.

This is a great website if you want to learn more about it!

My favorite cruelty free makeup brand :
Tarte
Too faced
Urban decay
Silky girl
Catrice
NYX

The best way to stop companies from using animals is to refuse to purchase their products
