Review - Hada Labo cleansing oil

I want to mention that my blog is going through some changes now to be improve. Please bear with it. Today's post is a review of the Hada Labo cleansing oil.

I purchased this cleansing oil with the intention of starting the ' double cleansing' method as my skin care routine. I would use this cleansing oil first to remove all of my makeup and then use the Innisfree Jeju volcanic pore cleansing foam to do the second time of cleansing.

This is my first time of trying a cleansing oil and I'd say that it works really well! It does a great job of removing all of my makeup. From my foundation, eyebrow pencil , mascara and the lip product that I'm using that day. I like how light the consistency of the oil is. I was expecting it to be heavier. It spreads easily on my skin and smoothly. When I use it to remove my eyeshadow or mascara I don't have to rub on it too hard. The product would slide off along with the oil.

I was worried that using an oil cleanser would make my face even more oily but that's not the case at all. So far I don't have any breakouts from using this cleanser as welll.

Is it an item that I would repurchase in the future? Most likely! If you're looking for a cleansing oil you can give this one a go .

April 2016 Favorites!

This month flew by so quickly with the travelling that I did and revising for exams. As usual, my monthly favorites is not only beauty/makeup related but also other miscellaneous things that I love from that month.

Yogyakarta travels with Bella

I get to travel with my best friend for the first time and it was crazy amazing. Yogyakarta is a city full of wonders. We were there for a week and it wasn't enough for sure. Here is some of the pictures that I took while I was in Yogyakarta with Bella.

Too faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette

This palette is everything! I've been wanting to get a new eye palette for months now to replace my Urban Decay Naked basic palette. I was contemplating between the Tartelette in bloom or Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. Obviously I settled down with the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. The packaging is too cute and the chocolate smell! OH MY GOD.

Here is the swatches of the colours that I use the most. This is with only one swipe on the eyeshadow.

Starting from the top it's

• Molasses Chip
• Mocha
• Satin Sheets
• Dark Truffle
• Bordeaux
• Sprinkles

You can definitely use Satin Sheets as a highlighter, I've done it before. They are super pigmented. I would recommend this for sure!

False Lashes

I've been using false lashes almost everyday and realised what a difference it makes for my makeup look. I started using them when I was in Indonesia just trying it out and I've been loving it ever since.

I totally forgot how much they are but I'm pretty sure that they are under RM10! They don't last very long though, I'd say around 3 times use.

This is my favorite eyelash from Daiso and it's only RM5.30! This doesn't come with an eyelash glue. I bought my eyelash glue from Indonesia. 

Korean Dramas

I'm not sure why I just started watching Korean drama because it's amazing! The first drama that I watched is Angel Eyes and it had me weepin every episode. Literally every episode I was bawlin my eyes out. 

It's so sweet yet heart breaking and also frustrating to watch. I'm currently watching The Heirs and it's pretty exciting to watch. Do you have any korean drama recommendation? Do let me know!

First ever published article

Indonesian makeup haul!

This is a super super exciting blog post for me to write. I've been wanting to try Indonesian makeup for ages now and I finally have the time to purchase them. I bought most of them from  Mirota in Yogyakarta. Although I will explain in details where I bought each of the items...

Lets start with the Purbasari Matte lipsticks!

I've heard a lot of good reviews over this lipsticks in the Indonesian beauty community. I bought them online through an online shop. I got them in the shade EC81 and EC90. Each of them costs RP 34.000

Wardah luminous liquid foundation

This is the most exciting item that I wanted to try. I've tried one of the bb cream from Wardah and it was OKAY. I got these on discount for RP 31.000 from RP 37.000 from Mirota!

Wardah and Viva lipsticks

Now I'm just hoarding lipsticks. But I couldn't resist they were so cheap! Viva is one of the top makeup brand in Indonesia for years now and Wardah too. I bought the Wardah lipstick for RP 30.000 in Mirota in the shade Velvety brown number 14 ( Matte lipstick) and the Viva moisture lipstick in number 123 for RP 27.000

Falsies!

I've been into false lashes lately and I figured I'd try more when I'm in Indonesia. I've heard of the brand Elise previously so this was the first fake eyelash that I bought. It's around RP 25.000 . While writing this blog post I'm actually using the La Belle fake eyelash. This was so cheap it was only RP 6.000! I totally forgot where I got them from but it's one of the mall in Yogyakarta.

Faux Mac makeup brushes?

Now, I'm pretty sure these brushes is not real Mac brushes. The price is way cheaper than a Mac brush. Although they feel similar! I haven't try them yet...


There is 1 more thing that I bought and didn't take a picture of which is the eye lash glue. I had so much fun purchasing each one of the items. If you're interested on a full review of one of them do let me know!

March 2016 Favorites!

This month is super super exciting for me since it's my birthday month! I would like to say that I am so blessed to have Robby and all of my friends in my life. This year's birthday has to be one of the best one I've ever had. There will be more personal favorites than beauty related but I hope you'll still enjoy reading this blog post!

Birthday presents

I am so lucky to be able to receive gifts for my birthday. Bella was so sweet she drove all the way to my place so that she can deliver me these flowers exactly on my birthday 12AM in the morning! Flowers is one of the things I absolutely love and I like any kind of flowers, they are just so beautiful. When it comes to Robbys present, his existence itself is a present to me. I've been wanting a necklace that'll lasts even if I shower with it and all that. That's his preent and a card that I can not share since it's pretty private. I absolutely love this necklace. It's a heart shape and there are two smaller hearts in it. How cute...

Missha Perfect Cover bb cream SPF 42 

I was looking for more of a high end bb cream to try on that's cruelty free and stumbled upon this one. I wrote a full review of this bb cream so I don't think I can say much more here but overall this is one of the best bb cream I've tried!

Zootopia

If you haven't watch this movie, you have to! I went and watch this movie all by myself in the cinema and totally enjoyed it. It's super cute and funny. I love how the moral of the story of this movie is to basically not to give up on your dreams regardless of what people say. It is so important for young children and everyone to believe in this. I don't think its available in the cinema anymore but just watch it somehow.

March 2016 dissapointments

I'm afraid that's all I have for this month's favorites. I purchased a lot of items that I thought Id love but turns out they are all disappointing. I thought I'd love the book Me before you and cry over and over again. It is a good book but it's not great? I can't wait for the movie though. I'm sorry if this blog post is short!

Review - Missha Perfect cover BB cream SPF 42

Hello! I've finally have a time off from all of the assignments and I can finally review this bb cream. I've been wanting to talk about it since the day I tried it for the first time. Missha is a cruelty free korean makeup brand. As you can see here in their website

So let's get on the product shall we?

I was looking for a new bb cream to try that is cruelty free. I've been wanting to try a korean bb cream since I know that it's quiet popular and heard so many good things about them. I've purchased the bb cream in the shade #23. I think that it matches me ' Okay ' although it has a grey under tone underneath. You get to choose from 5 different shades although since I bought it through Hermo.my There were only 2 shades available from me to choose from.

I've been using this bb cream as a base of my makeup since the start of this month. Although the bb cream from tarte is still number one this is for sure better than the one from Silky Girl that I've been using. My skin is an oily combination and using this works just fine! I would say that it's a light coverage but it's perfect for daily use. The consistency is not too thick or too thin either. What I love about this bb cream is that it has a pump! Although if you don't fancy a floral smell or a baby powder smell this is not the bb cream for you. The smell is actually pretty strong...

Well January was rough and February was much better...

This month's favorites is more of a skin care one and other miscellaneous items. I did not purchase any new makeup item I believe hehehe kind of sad about it but that's okay. I don't have much to show too but I hope that this blog post is still enjoyable to read.

Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel 

I have been using this moisturizer every night for at least one month now. I freakin love it! I'd say that this is my favorite moisturizer out of all that I've tried. It glides on your skin so smoothly like butter but dries out to a matte finish. If your skin type is oily combination to oily you should give this one a go! Clinique liquid facial soap - Oily skin formula

I have been getting compliments on my skin. This might be the holy grail product that's been helping me! Although I'm breaking out at the moment due to that time of the month. This cleanser really cleanse my skin thoroughly. I use it during my showers, it always leaves skin feeling smooth and refreshed.

Johnsons baby bedtime oil 

Pretty sure you're kind of confused of why I have a baby oil in my favorites post? No, I don't have a baby. This is what I use to moisturize my whole body except my face.It's so affordable. I would use the baby oil every time after my shower before I sleep and wake up with a silky smooth skin. I have read somewhere that baby oil prevents anti aging too! I forgot the exact price but I'm pretty sure for the small bottle it's under RM10

2016 Planner

Say it with me everyone! HOW CUTE !
I've only been using this planner for a week actually. Typo was on sale and when I saw it I just had to have it! I am one of those people who uses daily planner. I collect stickers too. It helps me get things done through the day, week and months.

This anime is an ongoing series. " The story follows Satoru Fujinuma, a man who possesses an ability that sends him back in time moments before a life-threatening incident, allowing him to prevent it from happening" . Review - Clinique 3 step intro kit Skin type 3 ( Combination oily )

Hello!

I've been using the Biore face wash , Vitamin E toner from Body shop and the Face shop aloe vera gel as my skin care for a while now and I feel like it stopped working for me? So I decided to research and look at the different high end skin care brand. I have decided to purchase the Clinique 3 step intro kit Skin type 3 ( Combination oily ).  I purchased the kit at the end of January and started using it straight away. I have a combination more oily skin so this kit was appealing.

Inside the kit you get the Liquid facial soap oily skin formula, clarifying lotion and the dramatically different moisturizing gel.

I really like this cleanser! The cleanser is water soluble and it has no odor which is super surprising to me. It really cleanse my skin thoroughly. I use a bb cream on a daily basis and it removes it just fine also the eyebrow product that I use. Although it does not remove my water proof mascara which is understandable. It is very gentle on the skin. It did not break me out at all.

Clarifying lotion

At first I was confused of how to use this product since I have never use an exfoliator before. Every single time I use this exfoliator I would always see the dirt on my cotton that I would not see by using a toner. It really lifts up all the dirt on my face. The only problem I have with this product is the smell, It's like a rubbing alcohol? It's slightly too strong for me.


Dramatically different moisturizing gel

Hands down my favorite moisturizer out of all of the moisturizer that I have tried. It's so silky smooth when you apply it and dries out matte. It's very light and hydrates my skin perfectly. I have notice that after using this moisturizer for 2 weeks my face is softer. Out of all the 3 products in the kit this is the one I would repurchase.
