( a small part of the blog post is in Bahasa) Review + updates! - DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

Hello! Ramadan Kareem! Selamat menunaikan Ibadan puasa semuanya!

wow it's been two months since I last posted a blog post. A lot of exciting and scary things happened the past two months. I'm officially an Early Childhood Professional as of a month ago. I got accepted into Monash University to major in Psychology for my degree! I'm so grateful for everything. It is also the month of Ramadan, I wish everyone good luck . Semoga selalu bisa nahan laper, emosi dan nafsu di bulan Ramadhan ini okay.

Another reason why I haven't been posting any blog post for the past 2 months is because I don't really purchase anything new as often as I did before. I've been really careful with the products that I put on my face lately. When I was working as a preschool teacher from January - March my skin went crazy. Big lumps of acne everywhere. They were itchy and sore. Although recently it's finally back to my normal skin with occasional acne here and there but nothing crazy and I'm pretty happy with it now. Once my skin is all good and my acne scars is not as bad I'll definitely do an updated skin care routine. Let's get on with the review!

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

I decided to try the DHC cleansing oil after using two pot of the Heimish all clean balm and I heard amazing review on the DHC cleansing oil in asian beauty from Reddit. This cleansing oil is an olive oil based cleansing oil. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil removes excess oil, makeup, dirt and other pore-clogging impurities with its water-soluble formula. Infused with olive oil and vitamin E, it nourishes and hydrates the skin, while rinsing completely clean, never leaving behind a greasy residue.

As you may know I have an oily combination skin that's super sensitive and acne prone. The foundation that I use is Estee Lauder double wear. Heavy duty long wearing foundation. I use this cleansing oil before my Mario Badescu acne cleanser. I like this cleansing oil a lot! It leaves no residue of foundation on my skin. Works really well in removing liquid lipstick and my eye makeup. It's not greasy at all. My face would feel soft and hydrated after using the cleansing oil. It doesn't break me out at all. Some cleansing oil would leave me with itchy feeling after it or causes closed comedones. You don't need a lot of it to remove your whole makeup , I use two pumps.

I love how I can easily purchase this at a Watson instead of having to buy it online. The one I have is a smaller version and I got it for RM35 . I have not seen any major difference in my skin but if I do I will update you on the Instagram account for this blog ! I can understand why people love this cleansing oil. I will most likely repurchase it.

I'm hoping to post more blog post in the future. Although I post more often in the Instagram account for this blog since it is quicker and easier to do. Let me know if there are any product that you would like me to review!

Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Hello!

I decided to make a personal blog post on Diploma in Early Childhood Education. The course that I finished a few months ago. It was not easy to find any information regarding the course other than from a university's website. But I wanted to know more than the course syllabus. I wanted to know what it was all about, the experience , the good and the bad. I hope that this post will be helpful if you are planning to major in Education or Early Childhood Education.

I chose to do the Diploma in Early Childhood Education after volunteering in a preschool in Qatar ( in high school ) for 6 months. I've always known that I didn't mind being around children but after being around children constantly I found out that I love being around them. Before you decide on being a teacher especially for younger children , make sure that it is your passion to be with them.

In my own words, Diploma in Early Childhood Education is a course that will shape you into being an amazing Early Childhood Teacher. A professional Early Childhood teacher. I learned everything from health and safety and nutrition to being able to teach every single subject for young children. It'll teach you how to teach math, music, literacy , science and much more for young children. Some of the assignments will require you to work with children. This means that you'll have to get a permission from a school to work with the children. The course taught me everything about young children. From 0 - 6 years old. So you will learn everything from pregnancy until kindergarten or even year 1. My course is a total of 2 years and half of full time study and practicum.

I did my practicum at a lovely Montessori preschool. It is one of the best time in my life. I was able to put what I've learned in college into practice. I learned how to manage children better. Because when you work with the children for your assignments you don't work with them everyday. Whilst in practicum, you do. During my course I took the First aid certificate as well. The certificate lasts for 2 years. Although it is not necessary it is good to know the basic first aid especially when you are working with young children.

Now I'm in the process of pursuing a degree in Psychology. If you are planning to do Early Childhood Education as a degree, diploma or certificate. Make sure that working with young children is your passion. Your lecturer , mentor and yourself will be able to see whether you have the passion in working with young children.

First impression review - Miracle bio water by Bio-essence (and life updates)

Hello!
I'm back after almost 1 month of not posting anything in this blog.

As some of you may know I started my practicum as a preschool teacher early in January. I've been so caught up with practicum and school work that I didn't have time to write a full blog post. Although I do try to post more in the instagram account for this blog @blogpostsrf . So glad that everything is going well in my life !

I've been breaking out like crazy and I have no idea why. It's honestly so upsetting. I've been using the same skin care routine for the past 5 months. While I was in Qatar my skin was at it's best condition ever. Honestly, I started breaking out when I started working. Possibly because of the stress? But it's been getting worst to the point that my skin gets itchy and red. Yesterday I gave my skin a break by not wearing any product other than the Miracle bio water by Bio-essence.

One of my classmate recommended this to me when I was attending class in college but I didn't think it was necessary to have or add into my skin care routine until now. It claims to be cooling, soothing with highest hydration. Also claims that it will help to refine your pores, brightens skin, firms skin, moustirizes and nourishes your skin. First of all I think that this is a must have in my skin care from now on. It's so refreshing . I would spray it on my face a few times a day. In terms of moisturizing I don't think it helps much but it is hydrating for sure. Most of my acne have dry out now . I don't think that it helps to refine my pores or brightens my skin though.

I think that this would be great to keep in your bag to hydrate your skin. That is what I'm planning to do from now on. I've only been using this for 1 day but I will give you an update through instagram for sure. Overall , I would recommend this ! There are different kind of these water mists I believe Avene and Evian makes them too.

Review - Bobbi Brown Illuminating bronzer (Aruba )

Hello!

I'm back with a review. Okay before I start with the review for the Bobbi Brown illuminating bronzer, I would like to say that I will not be doing a monthly favorites every month and will only be doing it if I have a lot of products that I truly love that month. I forgot to mention this in my previous blog post. Now we can move on with the review!

I was looking for a bronzer that I can use as a highlighter and a blush at the same time. I need a product that I can use to cut my daily makeup routine shorter. The first time I stumbled upon this bronzer is at the Bobbi Brown outlet in Sunway Pyramid. After trying it on, I went out with Robby and he was complimenting my makeup! I love how bronzy and glowy my face is whenever I use this bronzer.

This is the first item that I have from the brand Bobbi Brown. I have to say that I'm impressed! It gives you that healthy glow. The products blends in with you skin so beautifully. It is subtle and you can build it up according to your liking. You can tell that your face is highlighted/glowy without it being too much.

I've been using this every day ever since I bought it at the Hamad International Airport duty free. They have different shades that'll suit your skin tone. If you're looking for a glowy bronzer, you should try this!

Hello!

Happy New Year everyone. It is 2017.

Review on Estee Lauder double wear foundation

Hello!
I'm back with another review. I've realised that the readers of this blog really enjoys reading reviews so I'll try and write more product review for everyone.

Today, I'll review the famous Estee Lauder double wear foundation. I'm using the shade 2W1 (Dawn). The product details on their website says that the foundation is medium coverage, buildable, SPF 10 and lasts up to 15 hours with a natural or semi-matte finish. They also claim to be flawless all day, won't smudge and feels lightweight.

I've been wanting to get this foundation for a while now but only recently that I decided to purchase it while buying one for my mom as well. She specifically asked for this foundation. Honestly? I love this foundation so so much. It's lightweight and it is full coverage in my opinion. I have a lot of acne scars and it hides it effortlessly. I love how it provides with different kind of shades for every skin tone. Whenever I use this foundation it does not transfer or move anywhere. I was travelling from Malaysia to Qatar and the foundation stayed for 15 hours or more. I was leaning on my significant other and it did not transfer on his shirt. It sticks and blends to your skin so well.

The only down side that I have with this foundation is that it sticks on my skin so good that it causes acne whenever I use it for too long or too often. So I'd use it only if I feel like doing a full glam look or events. It says that it is natural but it's a bit too matte for me. Otherwise everything about it is perfect and I'd still keep it and possibly repurchase it in the future.

First Impression review on the Morphe naturally blush palette 9N

Hello! Look at this beautiful palette, my goodness. I've been eyeing to get this palette for a few months now but it's a bit tricky to get in Malaysia because I don't have the patience to pre-order my makeup. I bought it from addoony.com, their shipping is amazing. It came the same day that I ordered it.  I can finally say I have a Morphe item in my makeup collection now. This is a blush palette but honestly you can use some of the colour for contouring and eyeshadow as well.

Let me show you the swatches!

Swatches from the top left of the palette, the lightest colour going down to the top right of the palette. The palette consist of matte and shimmery shades. They are all super pigmented and pretty. The formula is buttery and easy to blend. Tried them on myself yesterday and a little bit of it goes a long way. In my opinion, the price is so affordable for what you get out of it. QAR 110 .

My only negative opinion on this palette is the packaging, it's just a simple black plastic but it doesn't really matter because the product is amazing. Overall, you should invest on this palette whether you're a blush girl, eyeshadow girl or a highlighter girl get it and try it out!
